Home-made Cereal in the Microwave Oven
Hi Helen

Yesterday I read some of your replies re recips for home-made oatmeal cereal in the microwave oven, and I would just like to add one or two recipes that may be of service for others:

Maize cereal:

1 spoonful maize flour
1 dl. water or formula

Whip flour with water or formula and put into the microwave oven. Stir every 10 seconds, as the cereal tends to clot easily. Warm up until the cereal has reached the needed consistency.

Rice cereal:

1 spoonful rice flour
1 dl. water or formula

Same procedure as for the maize cereal.

You can also buy a pot specially designed to be used in the microwave oven to prepare/boil fruit as well as vegetables.

Best regards
Kathrine and my daughter Madeline
