Dear Susan
It is quite normal that babies at two months of age and again at four months of age salivate quite a lot. Enzyme changes of the saliva and the bowels take place all the time preparing the baby's body to metabolize other food than milk. Saliva does therefore necessarily not has anything to do with teething ... :o)
