Breast Pain
Dear Helen

I am afraid that I suffer from a fungal infection of my breasts. My GP has prescribed Brentan 2 %. My nipples, and even the breasts, are very sore. I breastfeed my daughter more or less without any problems, however, my breasts still hurt.

My prescribed me the medication over the phone. He told me to use Brentan, but regardless of my daughter's symptoms that her bottom is a little red (no white coating on the tongue), he did not find it necessary to treat her too.

Having searched on the matter on the internet I am not sure that my GP is quite right ... what is your opinion?

Best regards
Anne Mette
