My Daughter does not Stretch her Legs
Dear Helen

Madeline is almost nine months old, and thriving in general. However, we still have a little problem re her motor development as she will still not roll from tummy to back/back to tummy, regardless of the fact the we practice a lot. Neither does she want to stretch her legs, I stimulate her by massaging her legs, however with no effect at all. She bents her legs or pulls them up to her tummy when hanging in her arms.

I am about to be rather frustrated, and I would really appreciate your advice as to suggestions to some exercises, we have not yet tried, etc.

Her back muscles seems strong, as her sitting position is very finde, and she tries to crawl although she gets upset when she does not move forward. We often place her on the tummy to train back, legs and hips, but she does not move forward on her tummy.

Best regards
Katrine, Madeline's Mother
