Protective Diet after Stomach Infection
Hi Helen

I would like to ask you whether you have any suggestions for a protective diet for our son after his stocmach infection?

The GP advises us to avoid cow's milk products at least for the next week, until his stomach seems to be ok. The GP recommends cereal (oatmeal, rice, millet, maize) and puree of boiled vegetables (we omit potatoes as they make him vomit). What can we offer him? Can we use ready-cooked cereal?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Gitte
