My Daughter has Lost her Appetite
Hi

What should I offer my daughter to eat?

She is 16 months old and lost appetite after having suffered from chickenpox, diarrhoea and running a high fever. She has now after a week started to have more energy. Chickenpox and fever are gone, however, she still suffers from diarrhoea and has had no appetite for the past 3 days.

She does not have any dairy produce as our experience tells us it will worsen her diarrhoea. We offer her mild fruit juice and chips, she drinks well and eats 3-4 chips at a time. We also offer her oatmeal cereal, bread with jam but she does hardly eat anything. She has been examined by our GP, and she gets enough fluids.

Best regards
A Concerned Mother
