Vomiting and Posseting
Hi Helen

I have a question for you, I know you are very busy for the time being, but I do hope that you have time to send me an answer.

My daughter seems to be posseting quite a lot. I am not sure whether she is vomiting or posseting, and whether I should worry or not. I guess she wants to play as soon as she has finished her bottle feed or solid meal.

I place her on the floor, she rolls onto her tummy and within shortly she will start posseting. She does not bring up a lot of milk, it is rather saliva with small white spots. It might be that she swallows a lot of water while while swimming in the pool - or she swallows a lot of saliva.

Her first two teeths have just broken through, which also has caused extra saliva ... when posseting on the floor the stain is approx. 5-10 cm in diametre - should I worry and call the GP?
She does not run a fever and she does not seem to be bothered.

Best regards
Mimi
