Bath - How often?

Here I am again with some practical questions.

Sylvester is now 4 months old and we sometimes wonder whether we should bath him more often than we do now, which is every third day. We usually add some baby oil to the water, that is all. He has just had som dry spots on his ankles, and we have massaged his ankles with some baby oil. Otherwise his skin is fine without any problems. We would like to know when we should start using baby oil generally, whether we should do that at all???
