Pregnancy and Cold
Hi Helen

First of all I would like to thank you for your reply the other day. The apricots have made my stomach work:-)

Otherwise, the ligament pains have decreased and are now very weak. Still no nausea - but I feel extremely tired in the evening.

Unfortunately, I have caught a bad cold. My head is filled with "severe" mucus - and my mucous membrane around the throat and the vocal chord seem rough and swollen. I cough but only a little, but I cough up phlegm.

I do not run a fever and my energy level is diminised only a little (it is hard to distinguish between being tired from being pregnant or from the cold).

I am really miserable and I would like to know whether you have an advice to get better.

I normally drink wild thyme tea, as it has a evacuant effect on the mucous membrane - I also use to take a vitamin A supplement which has the same effect.

However, it is recommended not to take vitamin A in larger quantities when you are pregnant - what about thyme tea?

Do you know of any other remedies to make my cold go away?

Are there any symptoms that I should be aware of, related to my pregnancy?

Best regards

Tea
