Sleep in the Daytime - for how long?
Hi

My three months old son is usually settled for a nap at noon, where he sleeps outside in his pram. He sleeps without any problems during the night, between the breast feeds, and the remaining half-an-hour-naps is, usually one to two naps in the morning and in the afternoon, where he sleeps in his bed. His noon nap, however, is considerably longer (approx. three hours, sometimes even longer) which I enjoy very much, as I can do other things or just relax. I am in doubt, however, for how long time I should let him sleep.

I start getting a little worried after three hours and check on him every second minute to make sure that he is all right. should I just let him sleep as long as he wants or can you inform me how long his afternoon nap should generally be?

He is settled for the night at approx. 8-9pm, depending on the time he falls asleep, and he wakes up at 6-7am.

Thank you in advance for your reply.
