My Baby does not want to Breastfeed and Formula
Dear Helen

I take this opportunity to thank you for all the useful replies you have sent me in the past.

The situation is that ever since Victoria has been ill, running a high fever, she has refused to breastfeed. I have tried almost everything, but she just does not want to breastfeed anymore. Now I have started to express milk.

I have also started to work again which means that the situation is very unfortunate and I need a piece of advice re formula milk.

As she is predisposed to allergy I have given her Nutramigen in the cereal etc., however it tastes awful and she does not want to drink it from the bottle. Which kind of formula do you suggest? I have been recommended to keep her on a cow's milk free diet until eight monhts of age where I can start to introduce the cow's milk little by litte.

She sometimes refuses to eat from the bottle, regardless of whether the content is mother's milk. I really do not know what to do?

I give her an iron supplement.

Best regards
Lene
