When to Cut back on the Night Milk Feed
Dear Helen

My daughter, Dicte, is now 7½ months old and is a thriving and active girl.

Her daily routine looks as follows:

05.30am: oatmeal cereal with fruit purée and water from a cup

08.00am: bottle feed and I settle her for a nap, she sleeps for approx. 1 hour

10.30am: rye bread snacks with liver paste or cod roe, fruit purée or a banana

12.00pm: wholemeal cereal with fruit + formula from a cup. I settle her for a 1-1½ hour nap

03.00pm: banana or rye bread snacks + water from a cup - she often has ½ nap outside in her stroller

04.00pm: bottle of formula

05.30pm: dinner, cereal with rice, potatoes, carrots, broccoli or similar.

She is settled for the night at 06.30-07.00pm where she seems very tired. She drinks approx. 150 ml of formula and falls asleep on her own.

She still wakes up between 09.30-10.30pm to have a bottle feed of approx. 200 ml - when should we cut out this night bottle feed?

She sleeps until 05.30am the next morning

Best regards
Anja
